31 December 2008 @ December 31, 2008
hi. today's the SEVENTH day of Christmas and also the VERY LAST DAY OF YEAR 2008.

wow. can you believe it? a while ago we were still doing our 10 yrs series etc. and now, we're done with the O lvls, and done with 2r6 chalet, done with christmas. Now heading towards a brand new year and a new studying environment. year 2009.

i think year 2009 would be a very special year for all of us. there'll be BIG changes in our lives, not only that we're turning 17, we're also wearing new school uniforms or no school uniforms and also, we're upgraded from secondary school students to JC or Polytechnic students. many of us might be separated into different schools, different classes. but look on the other side. we are going to make new friends that are so-called, JC/Polytechnic friends. We may even meet our PRIMARY SCHOOL classmates or schoolmates. We may find a brand new side of ourselves.

All our lifestyles will change... and i bet when we meet up with our secondary school friends some years after. Many of us will change. It's unlike the kind of appearance change and attitude change we have from primary school to secondary school. i just dont know how to explain it all. blah, it's confusing nonsense again...

oh oh.. i wanna tell all of u. I JUST HAD MY HANDPHONE CHANGED! ^_^ yeah. i love the new phone because of its new functions that my previous samsung phone lacked of. and now i can put in pictures, music and videos from my com into the handphone and transfer files from the phone into my computer. YEAH! it's a sony ericsson phone. My very 1st time using this brand of handphone. the functions are quite similar to the other brands of handphones so... i easily got to understand the basic functions of the phone.

show u a picture of my new cell. yup. it's the cheryl fong phone. except that it's in havana bronze, not red. and i got it for free! coz it's a $0 phone and that my samsung phone was worth only $10, so it wasnt available for trade in. (-.-)"

but it's really nice. that brown... :D but one thing that i dont like about this phone is that it isnt a flip phone and you cant zoom in or out during the normal one shot camera mode. :S so i've gotta manually zoom in myself. nvm. :) i'm satisfied with the phone, on the overall.

just received the new TAMPINES CALENDAR :) yesterday. checked on various dates... CNY is on the 26 jan am i right? oooooooh~ it's bad. coz there arent any holidays in feburary. then my birthday is still within the march holidays. yeepie yea yea. then bla bla bla.... X) haha.

christmas end on the 5th of jan. cool. i love the 12 days of christmas song:

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four colling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!

it's rather interesting, on how the writer actually came up with these lyrics. haha.

CHRISTMAS IS AROUND THE CORNER! in fact it's on this coming thursday! isn't it fast? school's gona reopen soon for the primary and secondary schools while we, the 'o's students will be getting our results VERY VERY SOON. getting quite nervous.

for the past few weeks, i have had weird dreams like getting 17 for L1R6?! instead of L1R5. ISNT THAT WEIRD?! and a E8 for english. but the good thing is that since my english is E8, the other 6 subjects makes up a total of 9 points, which means that my score for my other subjects were,on the average, either 1 or 2. ISNT THAT BRILLIANT?! haha!

ok, there's a fully packed christmas week for me... WE'RE GOING TO SUNGEI BULOH! yahoo! most likely getting my handphone changed. :D then there's BBQ, and more! cant wait for tmr! haha. wonder how are things going for u all. tag!

met theresa, her sis and her mum yesterday @ tampines library. it was my mum who informed me that she heard someone call, "Geraldine!" coz, i didn heard my name @ all, i tot it was juz some kids talking out loud. and to my surprise, it was 3sa! yar. and her mum's tummy's getting bigger now. I wonder how many mths already. hope that theresa oraganises this welcoming of new born sibling party or sth, then i'll get to go to her house again and see cheynene and also her new sibling. :) *hints* haha.

let you all see some funny christmas videos:

hi ho! how's life yo. okay, as usual, the boring geraldine life. no need for job serach. surprisingly. and also little housework to be done. X) and plenty of tv time. and days turn out to be boring-er and boring-er. MORE AND MORE BORING EACH DAY. well, so there's a need for books and computer to come in and fill up my boring life. I’m not blogging about chalet coz I find it alittle nothing-to-say-about. Except I realized that I cant really stay up late. During the chalet, I was always the 1st to sleep. And I guess I slept the longest among all who stayed over night @ the chalet. And I was always the 1st or 1st few to wake. GOSH. -.- I’m not a night person. I’m more of a give me sunshine and I’ll be more energized person. Ok, I made myself sound like a solar panel. LOL. and i'm such a direction idiot. getting lost in the chalet on the check in day. and needing to seek help from kinseng, ruishan and baoyi to help me. i remember sms-ing kinseng, "HELP! i'm lost!" LOL. so lame. it's becoz ruishan hasnt reached there yet and she told me tat kinseng has already reached the chalet.

Yup I’m picked up reading once again. I think I’ve mentioned b4 in some post or what, yar I think I did! Saying something like “it’s a miracle that I’ve picked up reading once again~ yeah”. It’s my second book this holiday. :) hooray. I’ve made quite some progress here. I’ve read a storybook called “Brother and Sister”. It’s about a pair of siblings who were being adopted from different families and now they wanna look for their biological parents, specifically, their birth mothers. Yar. It was rather a dull book. But managed to read through the whole book even though there were times I had the intention to give and return the book. The book I’m reading now is called “The Crystal Door”. I think it’s quite nice. It’s a fantasy story with lots of magic and mysteries. MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE. :D My mum says it’s the children’s ridiculous imaginative stories and that the librarian must have misplaced the book in the teenage fiction section. !@@$$%%^&* she just dislike fantasy stories. Never mind about that. My mum is also always criticizing abt my taste of EVERYTHING etc. i dont remember anytime she has seen eye to eye with me in things. sob sob...I FORGIVE her... XP

dad has promised to take leave to accompany mum and i for some festive season shoppings and family outtings. sigh, no overseas trip this yr. MANY THANKS to GOR GOR! my DEAREST brother. okay, fine, i hold alot of grudges against him and he has as much of them against me too. He likes to go shopping but likes to do them by himself. So he’s not taking any leaves from NS to join us. I hate it when it comes to this. Coz nowadays my bro hardly join us on family outings. I WANT HIM TO JOIN US. Coz I feel rather weird. I guess, I still love my brother after all.. awwww.

Miss all of u. haven been hearing much from u all. Hmmm. Hope to see u soon okay? Sms any lame jokes to me! HAHA.

show u all some clips from the HOODWINKED. the crazy version of red riding hood and the mystery of the stolen recipes..
if u dont have time to see the whole story just see the funniest excerpt i found throughout the whole show.

below are clips that form the whole movie.. it's about 2 hours. yar. soo.. LOL.

ALL 8 PARTS. each about 8 to 9 mins. so in total it's about 80 mins? wow, less than 2hrs. okay. it was shown on OKTO which says it's from 9.30am to 11.30. so i tot. nvm. just enjoy then~ suggest u all watch just the last part is enough. haha.

the wolf is a reporter and uncover, he has a squrriel that speaks SOO FAST as his sidekick. the granny is very like some cartoon character's granny. i cant remember whose was it.. then red ridding hood's a very cool girl. her name is RED because of her red hood that she wears, even when she doesnt wear her red hood. and she has a FIGHTING DEGREE. haha. then the woodcutter man is actually an actor, a failed actor cum some satay-y like things seller that the the UGLY children in the forest love to eat. and the baddie is actually a cute little rabbit. AWWW :(

ok gdbye for now!

this is a personality test from teck li's blog. i tot it was rather quite reliable as many of the characteristics mentioned, i thought that applied to me. so try it out. shall blog about chalet the next time. gona watch HITMAN REBORN! :D

I'm a Sensitive Doer (SD)(Just visiting? Take the free personality test and determine your iPersonic type!)

Sensitive Doers are gentle, modest and reserved persons. They cope well with everyday life and like their privacy. With their quiet, optimistic nature, they are also good, sought-after listeners and other people feel well in their company. All in all, this type is the most likeable and friendliest of all personality types. Tolerance and heir regard for others distinguish their personality. They are very caring, generous and always willing to help. They are open to and interested in everything that is new or unknown to them. However, if their inner value system or their sense of justice is hurt, Sensitive Doers can suddenly and surprisingly become forceful and assertive.

Sensitive Doers enjoy the comforts life offers to the full. They are very happy in everyday life. Sensitive Doers are often gifted artists or very good craftsmen. Creativity, imagination and an especially keen perception are just a few of their strong points. Sensitive Doers are very presence-oriented; long-term planning and preparations do not appeal to them. They take life as it comes and react flexibly to daily demands. They do not like too much routine and predictability. Their talents come more to the fore when work processes are variable and there are not so many rules. Sensitive Doers like to work alone; if they are part of a team, they do not get involved in competitive or power games and prefer living and working together harmoniously and openly.

Sensitive Doers are completely satisfied with a small, close circle of friends as their need for social contacts is not very marked. Here, too, they avoid conflicts - quarrels and disputes put considerable strain on them. Sensitive Doers are often very fond of animals and are very good with small children. As partner, this type is loyal and reliable and is willing to invest a lot in a relationship. Mutual respect and tolerance are very important to Sensitive Doers. Their love of pleasure makes them a pleasant companion with whom one can experience intensive moments. They like to look after their partner with attentiveness and small gifts and are very sensitive to the partner’s needs - often more than to their own. However, should they meet the wrong person, they run the risk of being taken advantage of. They are then deeply disappointed.
