hello. it's me again. another post. i guess my post yesterday was alittle too... abrupt. yar. so i'm trying to make up for that post. nvm...

By the way, IT'S CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE TODAY! woohoo. there's tons and tons of ncie tv programmes lined up in Channel U this afternoon till midnight. lots and lots of movies, etc.

there's 百万大歌星 a variety show by Harlem, 哈林,庾澄慶. nope, there ani't 3 hosts, it's all refering to the same person. lol. anyways, this show is similar to 'Don't Forget the Lyrics'. but as compared to that show, i think the former one, by Harlem is far better. TRUST ME. WATCH IT on starhub tv.. channel 54, every Sunday 7pm! haha

results of school postings will be sent to our handphones on the 29th or 30th of JANUARY. as heard from The Straits Times. yap. i'm sooooo excited about new school, new friends and new teachers. i hope that everythng will be alright and fine for me. I do hope that i will be able to be in the same class as anyone of u. :) i think it'll be weird to be in the same class as the primary school schoolmates. i want company... boohoo! lol.

"PLEASE CHOOSE MA2 CHEM2 GEO2 ECON1 if u're going meridian science stream! pleaaaasssseeee!" haha. i've been pushin my pri school close fren to choose the science stream, but in the end.. :( SHE CHOSE ARTS! WHYYYYYY!

hail to science stream! *looks around, finds out that no one is around with her on this protest* okay. maybe i should, u know, retreat then. :(

alright, below are some info about the CNY traditions:

CNY eve: reunion dinner. members of the family, near and far away, get together for the celebration. The venue will usually be in or near the home of the most senior member of the family. The dinner is very sumptuous and traditionally includes chicken and fish. In some areas, fish is included, but not eaten completely (and the remainder is stored overnight), as the Chinese phrase 年年有余 sounds the same as "may there be fish every year."

Red packets for the immediate family are sometimes distributed during the reunion dinner. These packets often contain money in certain numbers that reflect good luck and honorability.

CNY: welcoming of the deities of the heavens and earth, officially beginning at midnight and visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended family, usually their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. Some families may invite a lion dance troupe

CNY 2: married daughters to visit their birth parents. pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs GOOD CHEYNNE! GOOD GIRL! *pats*

CNY 3&4: visit relatives and friends

CNY 5: In northern China, people eat 饺子(dumplings) on the morning of Po Wu (破五). This is also the birthday of the Chinese god of wealth. In Taiwan, businesses traditionally re-open on this day, accompanied by firecrackers. *woohoo! so will there be any fire crackers this year @ 牛车水?*

CNY 7: traditionally known as renri 人日, the common man's birthday, the day when everyone grows one year older. It is the day when tossed raw fish salad, yusheng, is eaten. (SEE! ALL OF US ARE WRONG.. yu sheng is only to be eaten on the 7th day!)

CNY 9: day for Chinese to offer prayers to the Jade Emperor of Heaven (天公) in the Taoist Pantheon. This day is especially important to Hokkiens and Teochews. Come midnight of the eighth day of the new year, Hokkiens will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven. Offerings will include sugarcane as it was the sugarcane that had protected the Hokkiens from certain extermination generations ago. Tea is served as a customary protocol for paying respect to an honored person.

CNY 15 aka last day of CNY: celebrated as 元宵节, otherwise known as Chap Goh Mei in Fujian dialect. Rice dumplings brewed in soup, is eaten this day. Candles are lit outside houses as a way to guide wayward spirits home. This day is celebrated as the Lantern Festival, and families walk the street carrying lighted lanterns. (SEE! chinese usually celebrates latern festival on this day, but we singaporeans celebrate it on the 8th mth and 15th day of the lunar calendar. tsktsktsk, misundarstandings...)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST.. HAPPY early "牛" YEAR!

And also, if you didn't work hard for you CCA, you wouldn't get that 2points either. This ain't cheating. They could've worked hard for that 4bonus points but they didn't. hi. it's the RESULTS DAY ON MONDAY 2PM! OMG!

i cant really relax though, i'm still playing games on the internet. :P can't relax my soul, so i play games to relax my mind. haha. okay, lame joke. -.-

reborn hitman isn't showing anymore on youtube coz it is said that Funanimation or sth else. the anime company is going to sue anyone who sub/upload the anime more than episode 110. oh well, was quite worried about not being able to catch the rest of the story when.. this chinese website came up! MUHAHAH! chinese subbed reborn hitman! lol! woohoo. though i gotta like convert the names in the anime etc into chinese to understand the subtitles but it's good that @ least i still get to understand the story. it's terrible, not to be able to understand what you're watching and getting none of the silly jokes in the show. now, my problem is SOLVED. :)

went to denise's house on monday with the whole of our gang w/o theresa and christine (who came later on). den's house is still in the christmasy festive feel. hello~ 2009's here, and the 12 days of christmas was going to end on that day or so.. so, get those christmas trees and santa clause stuffs off! >8(

haha. we had movie marathon @ denise's place. wonderful scrumptious lunch we had, and tea time. spagghetti, chicken wings, coffee cake(it was christine's birthday cake, so this one we paid for it!), fries and home-made & hand-made pizza that denise's mum and her maid and prepared for us. it's so nice and..in chinese we call that 好客 i dunno what's that called in english. tell me if u know what's that in english.

yar. then we had souveniers from our friends. the CO who went HK bought us cups, den who went HK oso, bought us pens which has disney characters on it, and christine who went Korea bought us korean doll keychains. so sweeeeet of them right?! :D are you jealous? hiakhiakhiak! >.<

ok, that's all about it. byebye i wanna go play games! DO TAG OKAY! say hi or sth, coz the tagboard's rather dead. THANKYOU VERY MUCHHHHH

hello~ the following ppl whom appeared on the video went to ECP yesterday and this is a scene of them having their picnic.

we has fruits, cookies, dounts, pizza bread, sandwiches, tibits and tolberone for our picnic. :) then serene, baoyi, yeeling, meiling, asyraf, theresa and i went blading, only theresa knew how to blade, so the other 6 of us learnt how to roller blade. well, meiling was a fast learner, baoyi kept screaming, serene kept on cheating.. asking for help from asyraf when he wasnt on his blades, then theresa was blading normally, BUT @ least she didn lose her balance and fall. me, i shall say that i'm a crazy blader. kept talking to myself, giving my self encouragement and disencouragement @ the same time.. haha. and the way i bladed was weird too. i think i fell the most number of times. 5 on my butt and 2 forward falls and 1 side fall. -.- i remembered it well coz i had never fallen SO MANY TIMES IN A DAY in my sixteen years of life. oh god!

though it was an interesting experience but i think i still preferkeeping my feets on the ground. :) and i've got darn serious bruises that i got from blading... my shank in other words, 我的小腿瘀青得很严重!the bruises i got are from the abrasion and friciton from the blades. they're all black now.. *sob sob*

I WILL NEVER ROLLER BLADE IN THE NEAR FUTURE TILL I FORGET THE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! NEVER! @$@#%#@$#&^*&^
