Work at tuition is torturous but at the same time, entertaining. Getting the kids attention, repeating concepts over and over again and having them making noise in class is torturous... i tell you, my students have extremely LOUD voices. so loud that they can always 'over power' my voice(anyways, my voice ain't loud either), making the other tutors think that I wasn't teaching at all. -.-
my p3 sci class is like.. *vomit blood* they totally TOTALLY dont listen and dont do hw. except for 1 boy, who's super diligent and always bombards you with questions abt shows he saw on discovery channel. Like, do mantra rays have gills and lay eggs? so are they categorised as fish?
okay. i prefer to say that it's becus i'm not knowledgeable enough, but, kid, cant u choose something easier to remember for examples for fish?! like, sardines... *face palm*
then another one, "can i write dinosaurs for examples of reptiles?" T_T wad to do. to correct them or not?
then i hv this EXTREME student, who mood swings' like Ya(y~)-boohoo~ split seconds, i bet he can make it in the guinness world record... and everytime he throws his stuff and so and asks ppl to help him pick things up.
*purposely drops pen on the floor* "pick it up for me, or i shall not do work."
Well, i'm totally against FORCED LABOUR. so i insisted that he takes his own things... then, the below situation happens...
"okay i shall sit at the back on the floor and not pay attention."
the 1st time i met him, i broke his paper ninja star (unintentionally, just wanted to confiscate it so he would do his work) then he went to the back to throw tantrum. crawling, banging the wall, banging the tables....
after a couple of times, i'm numb to it le, u got anything new? i dont like to pacify kids, like, okayyyy, i pick up for u okay, now u do ur work? *u* seriously... NO way~
Entertaining factor is that they tell you silly things and share lame jokes (yay~ :D), and they understand my LAME JOKESS (applies to only my p5 class) and they do their HW! <3 i understand how my teacher feel now *touched*
i guess that's becus of the contrast btw the 2 classes... though i wished that they all will be softer when they're speaking... not LIKE THATTTTT!!!!!

esp mondays, woah, take today for instance, (my very 1st monday) i made/received abt 30 calls?? gosh, my ear drums are on the verge of bursting, guess needa remember to use alternate ears... LOL
